We use the All-in-One-SEO-Pack, as it is easy to set up and automates the on-site optimization big time.

From your Dashboard return to Plugins and activate All in One SEO Pack:

To Configure All in One SEO Pack go from your dashboard to Options and All in One SEO:

To make it short: tick all Checkboxes, leave all text field empty and change the code under Post Title Format to:

%post_title% | %category_title%

 

Click Update

    The bottom tick on the All in one – Log important events – what events exactly is that referring to?

    Thanks; this creates an internal log of modifications of settings and such like. This can be usefull if you monitor performance in function of settings you test over a given time.

    Hello Yorgooblaster Support,

    Can you please answer a question I have about the All In One SEO Plugin Options Area, My question is are we to fill in the Home Title, Home Description, and Home Keywords Areas. Everything else is ok but just not sure what to do with these areas. I was under the impression that we do not fill them in but need to be sure.

    Alan, according to the tutorial we leave it empty and I would suggest you just follow the tutorial on this. The reason is that we don’t want to have static tags; the script does the job automatically for us and adapts the tags in function of the page content…on each page. If you fill in the fields on All in One SEO, you kill one of the benefits of YB.

    Helena, you must be running a beta test version where the All in One SEO was not yet included. Please login to your Customers Area and download the final release version 2.1.5.
    If you need any help, don’t hesitate to shout.

    I tried to login to the Customers Area but are unable to do so. Error message – I need authorization

    Where do I get that?

    Richard, no you do not need to upgrade to WP 2.7. In fact we have modified and stabilized an earlier version of WP. YB would not work on recent WP versions. If and when ever there is an upgrade necessary, we will make it available in the members area and advise accordingly as we use modified WP scripts.
