Maintenance for your YORGOO Blaster

Maintenance-friendly YORGOO Blaster

Every program needs a minimum of maintenance and so does hosting. YORGOO Blaster is user-friendly in the sense that the automated feeds dont require your intervention.

If you prohibit Comments for Posts (recommended) you will eliminate already a good spam source. Also you won’t have to moderate and to comment on interventions on posts originating from third party.

May be you want to check once in a while the behavior of your site by controlling the smooth posting, but that’s about it.

More interesting will be your stats and the quality of your feeds. May be you want to post an own article from times to time?

Your Server and hosting will not need a big deal of maintenance either. If you clean the Data Base once a month by just optimizing or as the case may be repairing the tables, you should be ok. Do this from cPanel, then phpMyAdmin.

  1. Hello Yorgooblaster.com

Can you please tell me where we can make the post
open in a new window after they are clicked on

    Thank You

  2. If you click on a post title, it will open in its own page; for example, I click on your actual home page on ‘Call of Duty: World at War (Xbox 360)’, it opens the article in a new page at: http://yorgooblaster.goprobiz.com/greatdeals/call-of-duty-world-at-war-xbox-360/call-of-duty-world-at-war-xbox-360/

If you have problems with this issue, the reason could be that you may have set the Syndication Option Settings to : open links on original site instead of opening them on your site. Another reason could be that the feeds you import contain only a title and no excerpt or full article; in such a case the new page will still open on your blog, however it will contain only the Title.

  3. Hello Yorgooblaster Support,

I set up my sidebar in the adsense area with Firefox. But when I bring my site up with IE I do not see any banners for suppliers in sidebar or top area, but in firefox things look ok, also if I bring my site up with Maxthon 2.1.4 I see the side bar scambled with postings from main posting area. Can you tell me where things could be going wrong.

  4. Alan, I see the same as you do; try to enter before respectively after that flash ads block div and /div tags
    (put hem between <>)

Not sure whether this will do the trick, if not, please send your admin pass (you can do here I will not publish)

  12. Hallo Yorgooblaster Support!
    Habe gerade folgende email erhalten:
    Warning:
MagpieRSS: Failed to parse RSS file. (not well-formed (invalid token) at line 1, column 5) in /home/yougobiz/public_html/yorgooblaster/bestprice/wp-includes/rss.php on line 1169

Habe keine Ahnung, was es bedeutet.

    Danke!
    Ute

  13. Chuck, we have sent a mail with the original download as well as with links to all subsequent updates; if the mails have not come through, please get in touch with Zo and she will provide you with what you need, or send me a mail to yorgo(at)yorgo.net with your cpanel and ftp access and I will load it for you.

  14. Ute, thank you! This issue has been reported and here is the fix:

    Download the upgrade from HERE

Unzip and load the two files contained in the zip into the folder:

    wp-includes

    Overwrite the existing files.

What Have i done wrong and how do i fix it?

    Brenda

  16. Brenda, you didn’t do anything wrong; these mails just confrm that your cron job has run. You can get rid of these mails by logging into your cPanel, select cronjob, edit the cron and delete your email address from the top of the page.

  17. Alan, please load the latest version of YORGOO Blaster to your site at http://yorgooblaster.goprobiz.com/greatdeals. You find the original version 2.1.5 in your members account to download.
