Nov 11th, 2008 | By Yorgo Nestoridis | Category: 2. Install YORGOO Blaster, Featured ArticlesStep-by-Step Set-up and Install
1. Download the YORGOO Blaster zip and extract the contents to your hard drive.
2. To install your site you will need a hosted domain (get a Domain and Hosting from our recommended providers at Chihosters – get the Unlimited Pack for $35 per year)
3. Go to your cPanel and - create a sub-domain, if you wish to install the script on a sub-domain.
- create a MySql Database
- create an email account which you will use only for the purpose of this site
4. Open your FTP Client ( SmartFTP (30 days trial) or free FileZilla for example )
- connect to your host and upload all folders and files contained in the zip into the blog folder (if you load it to the root of your domain, so that it will appear under the URL http://mydomain.com then load it straight into ‘public_html’ ; if you want it to be addressed as http://mysubdomain.mydomain.com then load it into the folder called ‘mysubdomain’ under ‘public_html’, the same if you want it to be loaded into a sub-folder on your domain.)
ONCE YOU ARE FINISHED WITH SET-UP AND TUNING, RESET TO:
wp-content 755
wp-config.php 644
.htaccess 644
7. Run Install
Type into your browser :
YourSiteURL/wp-admin/install.php
Example:
http://yorgooblaster.YourDomain.com/wp-admin/install.php (if you use a sub-domain)
or
http://YourDomain.com/wp-admin/install.php if you install in the domain’s root folder.
Follow the steps and …
8. Login to your back-office (Dashboard):
Login from YourURL/wp-admin and use login name admin and the password the system has generated for you.
9. Change Password In your Admin area select Users, then admin and edit your User Data there, change the password to something you will remember.
10. Select Theme under ‘Presentation’, select YORGOO Blaster by double clicking on the screenshot YORGOO Blaster.
You are all done, continue with:

. . . and yet another question please!
This may sound stupid, however, as I am looking for contextual
feeds for my latest LOUIS VUITTON Blog
http://www.smartbidtips.net/new
I sometimes get the response: NO FEED FOUND
What exactly is actually happening here… versus having no problem
when adding /feed/ behind a blog or site url that is of interest to me?
Thanks & let’s have a super GouRou Day!
This is great, I was just having these same questions Bianca wrote and have the answer right here. Thanks again Yorgo !!!
I spent more than 48 hours trying to install the Yorgoo Blaster, following your instructions. When I rund the install.php ,all I got was an error message. I need some help here. I uploaded all my Yorgoo Files to a new folder under public.html. Then I changed the permissions. Set up the database etc.
Do I have to change my DNS in YorgooDom?
Where do I get help?
Regards
Hector Herrera
Password and mysql name correct In the config file it asks for localhost Itried different ones But when I go To ..
http://www.stargrams.net/Blaster/index.php/wp-admin/install.php I get error messge from wp.
Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can’t contact the database server at hostgator.com. This could mean your host’s database server is down.
* Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
* Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
* Are you sure that the database server is running?
my site for blaster is http://www.stargrams.net/Blaster

It’s Alive !
Thanks Zo for your great support . My problem was not having set up my DNS from Yorgodom and not having the right user names and password in my database.
It took me some time to figure it out. Now I am a master.
Well my next project is getting the Yorgoblaster to blast.
Please check my new site.
Thanks
Hector
I am having the same issue as Hector.
All I can say is that your system is the worst to get to send an email out !
I can not figure out how to work it, and I see I am not the only one.
Re: config.php
Scott and Hector, if you read the text of the config.php file, you see the comment that ‘localhost’ does not need to be changed in 99% of the cases.
‘localhost’ is a standard terms that designs the host where the script is loaded and on cPanel accounts it works. If the term ‘localhost’ does not work, then just enter the main domain of the hosting account. If you are hosted by Supreme for example, that is what you have to enter, while on ChiHosters you just leave it to ‘localhost’.
Notice also that the name of the data base and the user name is composed of your hosting username and the name you gave that data base and user.
Example: If you domain was domain.com and your hosting username was ‘domain’ then the data base name and username will always start with ‘domain_’ . To that you add the name you created for example ‘user’ which will result in: ‘domain_user’ for the DB user and if you called the data base ‘data’ the DB name would be ‘domain_data’.

Hello YORGOOBlaster Support,
Support I go threw and set up the the 1 threw 6 installation process, everything seems to go ok / until I get to where it ask to install – wp-admin/install.php – into my browser [with domain name] I do this both ways with http://domainname goprobiz.com/wp-admin/install.php and http://goprobiz.com/domainname/wp-admin/install.php
When loaded into browser I get a I get a 404not found. I come to a dead end…cannot go any further.
I know these instructions work, but for some reason I get stuck in this area. I know it’s me and it’s probably something small I’m doing wrong…Boy if I can just get this right there is no stopping this train…
I will leave another comment with my info for this blaster if I may?
Thank You
Alan Johnson
My problem is I have been going through set-up and I did some today at work. However, when I try to access the dashboard using the wp-login.php, I get a 404 error. Earlier today I got in from clicking on my domain name in the “client area” at ChiHosters. I got home and could not get back in. I’m sure that I have done something wrong, however, I’m not sure what it is. I’ve spent a lot of time on this so far and would like to just get the thing set up, but I cannot access my login area. Please help.
