Plugins – YORGOO blaster comes with just a few plugins which need to be installed and configured. Plugins are scripts which are run to increase the performance of the site, to make admin life more comfortable or to add features to the site.

Configure the Blogroll –

The Blogroll is a list of links to other websites, specially blogs. I like to list there sites which deal with the same or similar topics as I do on my blog and whith whom I exchange a link. That means, I list sites which put the link to my blog also on to their blogrol.

Create Categories – The categories have two purposes: first they help us sort the content and second, their slug will be part of the URIs of each article; these slogs will also be translated into meta tags in the header of ech article. Therefore they help us reaching our targets on Google.

Miscellaneous Options –

Not much to do here, just make sure you enable the ‘Use legacy my-hacks.php file support’ function by ticking the relevant box.

Reading Options – Without going too much into the technical details: this section allows to configure the reading options, as well for internal use as for external effects, such as feeds. Don’t worry too much about these settings, just copy the below example.
